"Improving Mind" Service User Group - Change of Venue

The Improving Mind service user group meets on the first Thursday of every month and has been in existence since 2005, it is one of the ways that people supported by any of Birmingham Mind’s services can get involved and have their say about those services and how they can be developed and improved.

For most of the time the group has been around, it has met at Beechcroft day centre in Erdington, but has now decided to move its meetings to Birmingham Mind’s Head Office at 17, Graham Street, Hockley, Birmingham, B1 3R .  This is to use a bigger room (The group is a victim of its own success!) and be more accessible to people who use Birmingham Mind services all over the city.  It has been a big decision to make the move, but a vote was taken to give Graham Street a try for February 2010’s meeting.

Information on getting to the new venue:

The No.101 bus from Colmore Row stops on Graham Street near to the building (Or just around the corner on Frederick Street) and the stop to get back to Colmore Row in the City Centre is on the same side of Graham Street as the building (Just walk down Graham Street, towards the city centre to see the stop).
