Pershore Road

Pershore Rd is a Registered Residential Care Home which can accommodate up to 10 adults with mental health issues who need a period of intensive support before being able to live more independently in the community.

Due to the funding arrangements people stay at Pershore Rd for up to 18 months before moving on and referrals must be supported by Adults and Communities (Local Authority)

Pershore Rd is located within a residential area and is close to the city centre. It is close to shops, bus services, post office, medical centre and Pharmacist.

The home consists of:

  • • 2 Large communal lounge areas
  • • Large Dinning Area
  • • Large Kitchen area
  • • 2 Training kitchens on the first floor
  • • 1 Training kitchen on the second floor
  • • Self contained training flat on the second floor
  • • 9 single furnished bedrooms.
  • • Large communal garden to the rear of the property

The home offers a level of support dependant on the individual’s needs. All residents are encouraged and supported to develop a support /recovery plan which ensures that the resident is placed at the centre of their personal support package. All residents are encouraged to identify how they wish staff at Pershore Rd to support them, and are actively involved in any decisions made that affect their life.

Support focuses on:

  • • Increasing daily living skills
  • • Accessing appropriate training or employment
  • • Accessing community facilities
  • • Building and maintaining friendships
  • • Building personal confidence
  • • Supporting peoples health and well being

The staff team maintain good links with the local community mental health teams and other relevant health professionals, ensuring that residents receive appropriate and timely professional support.

All Residents are encouraged to be actively involved in many aspects of life within the home; including decisions about the furnishings, decoration, recruitment of new staff and assessing the quality of the service provided in the home.

Because of the comprehensive referral process we are unable to take emergency admissions at short notice. Like all care homes Pershore Road is inspected by CQC A copy can be requested by contacting the unit or via the CQC website.
