Our Trustees
As a Charity Birmingham Mind is governed by a group of Trustees. A Trustee is someone who gives their time and experience for free and who is responsible for ensuring the Charity meets its stated aims and objectives (link).
We have what we call the Executive Meeting where all Trustees meet 10 times a year and the CEO attends. This meeting is responsible for the Strategic Plan and the direction of the Charity. It considers current achievements against business plan and oversees new business development.
We also have a Finance Committee and a Clinical Governance Committee. Both of these committees report to the Executive Committee. The Finance Committee oversees the budgets and income/expenditure. The Clinical Governance Committee oversees the quality of our services and considers issues relating to risk and Human Resources.
