Women's Services

Birmingham Mind offers women’s services throughout Birmingham. We currently have a team of 4 women’s workers.

People are supported by the women’s worker to become familiar with and gain knowledge of their local and wider community in order to access and use it to their full advantage. The women are encouraged and supported to build up self esteem and confidence, regain hope, and identify their own uniqueness, skills and strengths.

Whilst some work is on a one to one basis mostly the worker helps to facilitate small groups which then become self sustaining as the women become more confident and support each other.
